We
rarely get time to think these days, let alone have time to relax.
However, you don't have to have an aromatherapy massage or a bubble
bath by candle light to be relaxed (wonderful as they are and highly
recommended if you can!!) You can take a micro-break - a very short
space in the day to chill out and to come off-task, to enable you
to relax, re-energise, revitalise and re-focus!
To
get you started, try this . . . .
Put your feet
shoulder width apart on the floor (take your shoes off if you can
and wiggle your toes). Put your hands on your lap with your palms
facing upwards. Move your shoulders gently and sit back in your
chair comfortably. Take a deep breath in and slowly breathe out.
Shut your eyes if you can and relax for a few moments. Then, listen
to this piece of music and look at the relaxing images and lose
yourself for a moment whilst you take some time for you!
